When Target is your runway…
I vote that we all wear soft glam makeup for Target runs from this day forward.

It has been decided!

If nothing else, I think it would make the world a a lot more interesting place, LOL!

But seriously, I’m normally barefaced when I go to Target because #momlife, unless I’m feeling ambitious, in which case I might curl my lashes — might — but I just had to go there with MAC Jade Jagger. It’s so beautiful! I haven’t been this ecstatic about a MAC collection in a long time.

Gimme easy glam any day of the week.

I’m wearing the blush in the upper right, the red lipstick ideal next it, the quad on the left, and the bronzer in the lower left.
The collection is LE and pertaining to select MAC counters and the MAC web site December 14th.

This was actually my face of the day last Friday, but I just got around to posting the pics. It’s a warm, satiny bronzed brown smoky eye with pink cheeks and soft red lip.

I used the rose gold shimmer in Satin Shimmer Mineralize Skinfinish to highlight my cheekbones and my nose.

The shadows in this quad, golden shine Mineralize Eye shadow X 4, are a lot like the baked eyeshadows at Chanel.
I did something for this look that makes smoky eyes about 1,000 times easier, BTW. It’s a trick to get a jump start on your light-to-dark smoky gradients. I layered two cream products together, one lighter and one darker, on my lids before I applied the powder eyeshadows in the quad. because creams are much easier to scoot around than powders, it’s easy to tweak how high up you take your darker color and map out the whole overall shape of your smoky eye when you do it this way.

The lighter cream shade, which I used as an all-over base on my lids, was warm matte brown Bite appeal Multi-Stick in Honeywheat, and the darker cream (technically, it’s a creamy liner) was MAC Teddy Eye Kohl, which I applied along my lash line and just barely into the crease. then I blended Teddy’s edges into Honeywheat and applied the rose gold shade and the brown from the quad on top.

Try that cream trick one of these days! I vow it’ll make your smoky eyes easier.
